Volujak

The second highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Volujak, has always been a border mountain. Once upon a time it was the border of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and the Turkish Empire, today it is the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Volujak is separated from the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maglić, by the Suha (or “Dry”) stream, Dry lake and the basin containing Trnovacko lake. There are about 10 peaks above 2,000 meters in height on Volujak, the tallest of which is Velika Vlasulja at 2,336 meters.
