Volujak Mountain

As the second highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Volujak has always been a border mountain. Once upon a time it was the border of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and the Turkish Empire, today it is the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Volujak is separated from the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maglić mountain, by the Suha stream, the Dry lake and the basin containing Trnovačko lake. There are about 10 peaks higher than 2000 meters on Volujak the highest of which is Velika Vlasulja with 2336 meters.
